Sears Holdings Corporation is the owner of retail store brands Sears and Kmart. The company is on the Cruelty Free Investing animal use list for several reasons, including its sales of products made from animals, including food made from meat, dairy or egg products, as well as goods made from leather, hide or fur at their retail stores.

Additionally, Sears Holdings Corporation has been targeted by Animals Australia for the suffering and cruelty endured by animals at rodeo events, Kmart has announced it will not sponsor the Mt Isa rodeo and will steer clear of such events in the future.
