Our Opinion
Coca-Cola FEMSA SAB de CV is in the Cruelty Free Investing list for exploiting animals because they are an independent marketer, producer and distributor of Coca-Cola Company products. A few of company’s drinks do contain small traces of fish gelatine (which is used as a stabiliser for the beta-carotene colour). These drinks are Lilt, Lilt Zero, Kia-Ora Orange Squash No Added Sugar and Schweppes Orange Squash. The Coca-Cola Company also rely on third party animal testing services, to demonstrate ingredient safety, where governmental agencies require.
Supporting Evidence:
Does Coca‑Cola test on animals?
Are all the drinks sold by Coca-Cola GB suitable for vegans and vegetarians?
