Murphy Oil Corporation is an American petroleum and natural gas exploration company headquartered in El Dorado, Arkansas. As of December 31, 2015, the company had 774 million barrels of oil equivalent (4.74×109 GJ) of estimated proved reserves, of which 44% was petroleum, 15% was synthetic crude oil, 36% was natural gas, and 5% was natural gas liquids.
